Just watching Val and Murray freaking out after wba equalized ( obviously they're going to) brings home how much its just a job to these people, when they're at your club you're under this romantic notion that it means something to them, mercenaries really..
To be fair, I play football with mates. Different team each week and I just want to win. I cheer when I do and congratulate goal scorers, etc… can’t see it being any different. You cheer when you win, whatever team you’re in.
After I watched chris Morgan kiss both the barnsley badge and then later in his career the blunts one I realised its just a job to these people a long time ago.
Just because some players have an affinity to certain clubs they play for doesn’t mean they don’t try just as hard at other clubs .
We all know the score. Money, that's all it is. Doesn't matter to me, really. I'd still like to give Val a nice welcome when he comes to Oakwell.
What on earth is this thread about? Do you expect them to just shrug their shoulders when the team they manage scores? What a load of bollix
