How many we take? Surprised it hasn't been mentioned anywhere. What was it like for things like mask wearing on coaches, concourses etc?

Looks like the players have flown home as you aren't getting to the West Midlands that quick.

Hmmm, can’t say I enjoyed that, not much quality from either side imo. Draw was a fair result.

That was my first live game with Mick McCarthy in charge and WOW. Our centre halfs launch it further in the air than Richard Branson or Jeff Bezos went last week! Makes Warnocks style of play look like tika taka. And he’s more negative than Neil Harris which is quite an achievement. Our first thought is to play backwards. Frustrating to say the least.

Thought when we went in front that was it, couldn’t see either side scoring tbh. That said, in the first half our keeper pulled off a great save to turn one effort around the post and thought you should have had two penalties - right in front of me. Woodrow let the ball go past him before running onto it and our full back clipped him. Could easily have gone down but chose to get a shot off which narrowly missed. Credit to him but should have gone down. You had three corners on the bounce and from one (2nd if memory serves me) our centre half, Nelson, brought Sibbick down with the wrestling hold named after him. Very lucky on both counts.

Thought Woodrow stood out for you and Collins for us but wasn’t overly impressed by anyone on that performance.

Oh, and a shout out to your keeper. I’d have a heart attack if he was in goals for us, takes way too many chances with the ball at his feet a long way out. Looked like an accident waiting to happen and sharper forwards will surely take advantage.

    Looked around 800/900 to me?

No masks needed for us, assuming the same in the away end.
I say this because we’re off to Blackpool next week and have been told that we need masks in the away section - but they don’t in the home ends? Aye alright, all the best enforcing that.

There'd have been an extra 2 or 3 from this household if we'd known away fans were allowed a bit sooner.

Masks aren't mandatory but fans have been encouraged to wear them in concourses and when moving around. Our official coach wanted fans to wear them on the coach and not eat or drink so I was wondering how many kept it on the whole trip whilst hungry and thirsty. 800-900 is some going.

Put that down to Mark Drakeford, First Minister for Wales. An absolute tit of a bloke, incapable of making a decision - in this case granting permission to allow crowds.

It was a nightmare for us as well, season tickets slow being processed (ready in “a few weeks” apparently!) and had to download e-tickets from the worst, clunkiest website on the internet. Took me around a week to resolve ST issues and I’m technically quite savvy. No option to phone and ticket office closed has led to many just giving up.

What he did with nightclubs having to refund people as they couldn't open at midnight was disgusting.

Can’t see that happening on the coaches but take your point.
Given the circumstances, thought your numbers were very good today.

I’m not sure if this has had a mention already but right after the two minutes silence all the players took up their positions, the ref blew his whistle and Carlton Morris charged up the pitch whilst all the others took the knee! :)

Was told we had to wear masks to enter the ground. (provided outside if necessary) and could remove em when seated. Totally ignored.
Every fan I spoke to, was pleased with the point we at least deserved.

Interesting re the penalties mate. No one in the away end. to my knowledge, mentioned penalty appeals. Would like to see our goal that was given offside again to confirm if it was. Looked on to us. Yours was called straight away.
One of your best chances in the first half. From a cross Looked nailed on until Helik either got a foot to it or at least did enough to put your man under enough. pressure to miss the ball completely.
    Thanks for your unbiased assessment.

It was mentioned on the website and twitter yesterday that we’d sold around 850 pre-sale. Think another 50 or so sold on the day. Very good backing and supportive throughout.

Well BL I watched the game also and I live in Barnsley too probably the same way as you.I have to say I wasn’t impressed with Styles in the middle and probably the manager wasn’t either as he put him back out on the wing when he brought on a sub in the second half can’t remember who it was and I am sure he can jump more than 6inches when they scored their goal
as he was stood in front of the guy who scored.Played some cracking one touch football around their area and still didn’t think it was offside for the goal.Well hopefully we will get better as the season goes on.
