Parking at Bolton

    Any recommendations on where to park at Bolton. I've never been, but I recall someone saying their club car park is more expensive than the match ticket.

    You have no option other than to use the club car park as the ground is in the middle of nowhere.

    It gets worse....... I’ve driven a couple of times. On both occasions it’s taken me best part of an hour to get out!

    It is expensive but well set out and I got a quick getaway at the end. I found it very safe too.

    Weirdly enough, it was a Bolton match where I felt the most unsafe. Walking to the ground it felt really claustrophobic and like there was going to be a crush.

    Am I correct in saying that the car park was sold off anyway? So the club don’t actually own it and don’t profit from it?

    I’m no @JLWBigLil but the promotion season was at Burnden, 2-2 and Nathan Blake scored for them. I remember him running towards the away fans to celebrate.

    Premier league I remember Gundi Bergson hitting a 35 yarder top corner and a couple of my pals getting arrested after the police chased one, Benny Hill style, around the stand.

    Happy days and over 20 years ago.....
