Big Vic couldn’t trap his hand in the door.

Miller has found himself in acres of space. Crossing a real let down

Benson head and shoulders in front of anyone

Odour not in it as much as I'd like.

My changes would be for 2nd half....

    Miller off
Switch Williams to the right where miller was
Odour to the LWB where Williams was
And in the front 3 where Odour was, chuck on Cole

Played some pretty decent stuff at times, and plenty of possession, but attacking threat is next to zero despite the stats

Victor put through by Oduor inside the box on the right. Should have scored, or at least get it on target.

We look a class above but with nothing to show. Need to shoot more when opportunities arise.

Thought the same on satdi would much prefer him where he excelled last year but I know they need to try n find a midfield hope kane gets some time second half

Not a bad half just lacking a bit of composure in the final third. Miller needs to be looking to beat a man more he’s been in acres of space and put in plenty of poor crosses. Bensons looks a class above. Victors been poor heavy touches and dreadful effort.

Very poor opposition but you just know what’s going to happen! We’ve had all the possession and done not with it. Need to step up a couple of gears second half

Except Odour is a complete liability in that position as he’s very poor defensively.

Quick first half assessment by me:
Walton - had very little to do except the shot that came straight at him. He dealt with it well. 7/10
Moon - very much the ball winner in this first half, broken down a lot of attacks. 7/10
Halme - not really been under pressure, done enough when needed. 6/10
Helik - Defensively solid, but had to cover for himself a couple of times when losing the ball or playing a loose pass. 6/10
Miller - looked excellent down the right hand side, but cannot cross for butternuts. 6/10
Jordan Williams - played a couple of decent crosses in, and done a solid defensive job. 7/10
Benson - a class above. Looks like we've got a really gifted player there. Would like to see him have a crack on goal when outside the area. 7/10
Styles - looked very tidy and tenacious.7/10
Adeboyejo - I want to find some positives, but he's being muscled off the ball, and his first touch seems poor. Could do with it going in off his backside or something to take the pressure off. 6/10
Oduor - very lively. Looks a much better player in the front three than when he played against Man City at LWB. Opposition might have made a difference though. 7/10
Woodrow - been quiet, looks like he's not as comfortable being out on the left. 6/10

Disappointed with Victor this half tbh ,
Seems he hasn’t worked on his ball control which was frustrating last season ,
Got into some good positions then let himself down with ball bouncing straight off him .
Hopefully he comes good in second half I really want it to work for him but ball control is letting his game down so far .

Yep, it's another test. To capitalise on the wasteful space on the right, stick a striker on. Only one sub made.

If Odour fails to take to LWB against league one opposition, in comes the 2nd sub.

Kane on Odour off and put styles at LWB

    Was my thinking anyway.

I know everyone has already noticed, but Benson is a player. Very happy we've signed him. Big Vic needs subbing. Young Miller couldn't lace Callum Brittan's booits.

I wouldn't say class above, done well to keep possession at times but other than that pretty in effectual. Helik is carrying the defence, both wingbacks look awkward as they are been played out of position....... Front 3 look poor again.

Schopp has sen enough of Vic and so have I. Didn't do anything against a L1 defence.

steady thissen , it’s a match thread for opinions!
Victors big problem is the number of balls that bounce off him or go under his foot, so it’s more noticeable. Miller has done a lot of running but hardly put a decent cross on yet, at least with Woodrow there’s always a chance he’ll hit the net.

I think Oduor would be fine at LWB. He was poor defensively in a back four, but at wing back he's sound.

    He's brilliant going forward imo.
