    No, didn't realise that. What I thought I saw was cauley going down easily for a free kick and when it wasn't given he lunged at their player giving away the free kick and earning a booking. If you saw it on a replay then I stand corrected. Put us under unnecessary pressure nonetheless.

    I'm notoriously one for backing the refs, but not this time. one of the worst displays I can remember. willard/kettle level bad. took no action whatsoever in the 1st half, then totally lost control in the 2nd

    He even f****d up the kick off, by allowing a false start when the players took the knee, and then the final whistle where he seemed to choke.

    Looking at his stats he doesn’t seem to have refereed a match in the Champ with a crowd. Before this all league one and league two or lower.

    Big game in front of a big crowd and he bottled it. Shaking as he blew the final whistle.

    I thought the end was very strange he had already gone minutes over the 6 minutes he signaled for then when the game ended it was the most half hearted blow of a whistle ive ever seen some players and staff and fans weren't even sure the game had ended totally incompetent from start to finish.
