One down, twenty two to go! Next up on Grove Street, Luton Town. Prior to their defeat on Saturday at West Brom, and their exit from the cup against Stevenage, Luton's last 20 competitive away fixtures were a mixed bag. 7 wins, 2 draws and 11 defeats. Barring the odd exception, those defeats came against top half opposition (and Chelsea in the cup). In contrast, we have just 2 home defeats in 12 competitive fixtures now. Historically, Luton do have a fairly good recent record at Oakwell. They've won 5 of their last 7 visits, with our last victory at home to the Hatters coming in 2018. Prior to that though, we were undefeated in 12 home games vs Luton (11 wins) stretching back to the early 60s. Luton have started the season in fine scoring form, netting 7 times in 3 competitive fixtures, with goals coming from 6 different players. I honestly think we'll go from strength to strength, and will pick up the points on Tuesday night. I'm going for 2-1 with Woodrow grabbing a brace.
I think we need to play a lot better going forward than we did yesterday if we are to beat Luton. They will score. 1-1.
0-0 Hopefully we’ll have a striker available to replace Morris. Oduor didn’t look comfortable up front.
Well my record so far is rubbish, predicting wins for both Cardiff and Coventry. Luton have been playing well apparently, don't have James Collins anymore but have fight and spirit. Not many goals, 1-0 to Luton.
I think Luton will be a different proposition and maybe less physical than Coventry or Cardiff so I'm hoping for another 1-0 victory with Helik scoring
Hate to say it - Luton were very strong first game and I do think we have rode our luck. Add into mix our atrocious record against them. I'm going 0-2 - Boo Boys get their day out at the final whistle
