Im not a coach (obviously) but i often wonder how easy is it for an opponent to evaluate how to set up. Right now i see it too simple. I can imagine other team managers thinking about us:-

    - Vast majority of attacking crosses from Brittain. Stop supply to him final third especially from Benson.

    - Midfield is fairly static. Let em have the ball and just jockey our play left / right / back.

    - Woodrow only goal threat, mark him tight as he gives up fouls and will drop deep.

    - Play on their left side. Best way to get behind and make sure midfield trail the forwards into the box. Cut backs are important.

    - Switch play left / right in the centre early. Let them chase and wear midfield down as gaps will open. No long high balls through centre as defence usually is ok at dealing.

If i contrast that to last season were were a lot more difficult to work out and play against. I havent studied QPR from our view point yet ;-)

Yea so this is the biggest transition for a while. We have gone from kicking everything before it bounces to now trying to pass our way around the pitch.
Before last night imho i was wondering where a goal was coming from. Im still wondering.......i think it was one of those games where if we played all night and not added a goal it wouldnt suprise.
Like a few on here, im wondering about our style. The coach has the ability to change formation, which i like but we were just ineffective in the final third. The lack of the new belgian strikers playing any minutes is begining to grate. Anybody remember john hendrie arriving and being unfit?
Think it took him all of about 3 weeks. Goodness knows how miller can get a sub spot over theses 2 lads. It concerns at the moment but i can be more patient as this is a major transition. Very much more pleasing on the eye but for now no where near as effective.

What we lack is muscle. We were knocked all over the place yesterday.

Luton did what we did last year more or less.

Simple tactics, one dimensional perhaps, but effective.

More shithousery than I've ever seen.

I have no evidence of my next opinion (so u will be right to slam me down)......but here goes.
The Belgian lads have been with us for maybe 5 weeks yet we are told they are not ready. Exactly how fit do you have to be to play (in halmes case last night) 5 mins as an impact sub?
Maybe the not ready is their problem and they have poor attitudes.....i really dont know (just widely speculating) but it just does not make any sense why they cant even get on the bench.

The problem is, we give the ball away far too often & far too easily.

I would also add - press the goal kick - they cant play it long because Woodrow just falls over and the other two don't even contest.

I don't think it's the time for cunnilingus.
