Not expecting anything to happen but I would suggest it would be a completely different senario to Swansea where their captain played in the role that Conor would be most suited. Pipe dream!!!
You can't just give and takeaway the arm band like it means nothing woodrow from.his interview is very proud to be captain and to just give it away after 3 league games would I imagine piss him off. I've seen no sign its effecting his game he's played similar for a while.

Woodrows been a barnsley player longer than conor was one he obviously cares about the club. I may slate him on here over the past 6 months but I've seen nothing to suggest that the armband has made a difference to his game. And I wouldnt want a loan player as captain.

No idea where the original story came from but its plausible that Villa will be looking to loan him out again and that would be to a championship club. Cant see any of the parachute clubs going in for him so they wont have anyone who will want to pay most of his wages we are as good a shout as most. Id welcome him back but I dont think it will happen
You can’t get a player in on loan and give him captain’s armband straight away and expect other players to look up to and respect him before they’ve even met him. These players don’t know him like the fans do, we’d accept him as it but they wouldn’t like it. You might think ‘tough’ but that would be horrible for team spirit and morale.
I'd have him back but for the whole season. There'd be a meltdown if he left in January and the arse fell out of our season again.
