Well I watched that, a bit like watching your ex with a new bloke. The shots of Ishmael getting passionately involved Mowatt scoring the high press. Bit of an upgrade on the long throws but otherwise a lot like us last season. I missed it yesterday. How poor were the blunts though. Wish we had them next game rather than an in form QPR 4-0 flattered them could have been 6 or 7
We’ve had our brief taste of success at Loftus Road. It could be another 50 years before it happens again, unless we are doing a “Luton” on them.
No way we could play like that they just belt balls in for their big blokes to attack. Once we get a balanced side with all new additions, then we will see how we are at. As for ‘our’ Alex he can do one as far as I’m concerned, as can VI. Just memories now nothing to do with us.
Sheffield United are so bad that if they continue that way our fanbase won't mind so much being charged £33 like Huddersfield are this weekend.
Odubajo red card Lee Wallace off injured Lyndon Dykes a fitness worry Charlie Austin could be banned as its rumoured he head butted Grant Hall but want seen by the officials.
Well that’s a 3 match ban for McGeehan if ever I saw one. Hard to see how that won’t get a suspension
WBA looked like world beaters tonight against what was a very poor showing from dem Blades. I’m expecting the Baggies to be there or there about’s come the end of the season, if not in the top 2. Difference is though, the PL is an entirely different animal to the Championship, so as good as they may have looked tonight or further into the season, they’ll struggle if they go up without some major investment, and VI’s hoof ball style won’t be as fruitful in the PL I’m sure. They won 5 games total last season in the league.
It will be really interesting to see how his football works in the premier league. He’s certainly innovative! oh what could have been…
Val could have two Belgian crocks, a midfielder no one had heard of and have to resort to playing a left back up front if he'd stayed. A no brainer really. Oh what might of been.
We certainly gave Chelsea a fright last season before we'd even hit form. I think he'd win enough games in the prem to keep a team up. Val just strips the game back to basics, work hard squeeze the pitch and put the opposition under stress in areas of the pitch where it matters and because he gets the wins everyone buys into it.
If the three games I have seen us play are anything to go by we will also potentially be renewing our Wednesday derby. 5 South Yorkshire teams in Division 3, saves on travelling I suppose
