    I didn't really count Kitching as he hadn't played for us at that point, and also the 5 subs and rotating 6 strikers meant Morris not being able to play a full game for us wasn't as big a deal. Don't think any manager is lucky enough to have no injuries in their squad, but I think Val erred on the lucky side!

    I'm not counting on them, given the smokescreen about the visa issue. Sounds like a catastrophic balls up.

    I agree. The way the club have tried to cover this up makes me think something is seriously amiss.
    Reckon there's a pretty good chance the transfers will never actually happen.

    Seeing our balls ups with the initial loan attempt for McBurnie and the hugely expensive **** up thats cost us over £1m on the sale of MacDonald, we have reason to be more confident this time.

    It's okay, neither of the surnames include Mc/Mac. We'll be fine. Unless they change their names by deed poll. McOulare and MacIseka.

    Barnsley FC are delighted to announce the signings of Scottish duo Obbi McOulare and Aaron Leya McIseka. Paul Conway commented, "following visa issues when attempting to sign from Europe, we had to scour the Scottish market to find 'similar' players."

    The deal is subject to acceptable bleep test results.

    I think it was the season we signed a million number 10's and then played a system that didn't suit that position.

    I'm curious for next seasons transfer window already and what position we'll be obsessed with. I'm guessing the next new coach will play a flat back 4 so we'll dine out on signing a dozen left wing backs.

    We still have Woodrow, Adeboyejo, Morris, Frieser, Cole, Oduor (seeing as he's been played in a front 3), Miller, Marsh, Oulare, Iseka and Thompson.

    Plus Thomas, Schmidt and Aitchison out on loan.

    That's still 14 (if 2 get permits)! Despite getting rid of Chaplin and Simoes.

    We've not seen some of them play, so we can't possibly know, let alone how they dovetail with each other, and within Schopps style and tactics.

    We have way way too many though.

    How does it stand if the so called Visa issue isn’t sorted before transfer deadline?? Because if it means that we’re stuck with what we’ve got until January,,, then we’re royally f****d
