    Lukaku recently resigned for Chelsea and looks like Ronaldo is going back to Man Utd.

    Got me thinking of players we resigned and if their 2nd signing was as good as the 1st.

    Hammill scoring at Wembley in his second spell was great.

    David Currie and Ian Banks in their 2nd spells not as good.

    Any more?

    Can't see Ronaldo failing to score goals so I'm sure his second spell if he signs for them will be good.

    No, just meant loan spells over all for the purpose of this thread. And yeah, Nardiello was excellent (When I say someone is decent it's high praise!).

    I think resigned loans over different seasons count as second spells. Extension of existing loans doesn't.
