    What an absolutely fascinating series.
One cannot imagine all that goes on below London and all the secret hidden history of the last 100 years. I'd love to go on the tour of the underground, railways and that history are wonderful.
Sounds nondescript but it is truly worth watching.
And Siddy has a key to my garage door and tomorrow she is going to explore in there with me. Can't wait.

I did the "Hidden London" tour of the now abandoned subways that were used as shelters in WW2 in March 2020 a week before lockdown. It was absolutely brilliant.

Booked to do two others but sadly they haven't opened them back up yet.

    They are well worth it.

After the war they took out the beds and replaced them with shelving to use as secure document storage.

I can. I've travelled the underground for nigh on 30 years. Give it a go. At rush hour. *****. Absolute *****.

If you sign up to London Transport Museum's newsletter you get the chance to book 48 hrs before general release (when they eventually start them up again) - it was 2hrs, with an actual guide as opposed to a headset, and brilliant.

I plan on doing them all when it opens back up.

I like having an actual guide. I take it there's a lot of steps though?
