Whereabouts are your in-laws? We did a road trip around the Deep South in 2018. That was an eye-opener! I photographed loads of those nutty signs outside churches. Absolutely bonkers.
A lot have a "Gubmint can't tell me what to do" type of attitude. Funnily enough a lot of those people will happily take anything Trump says as gospel. I can't get my head around those who hate the idea of state healthcare because "muh freedoms" and taxation being theft. Apparently having no choice but to pay a larger sum to a private insurer every month is somehow preferable.
Joe Rogan has been taking it. He has a massive following in the US. He's not a born again Christian though.
I’m really thankful that you exist in this world of the BBS. To add to this there’s also an argument (or debate) to be had around who makes money out of Invermectin being subscribed for Covid. The answer is nobody, so whilst many medical professionals are treating people with the human version and seeing positive results, that’s not something the mainstream media want to report.
That's a good point, but people are literally buying the animal version from vets/farm supply shops and self-administering it, rather than the version tested and licensed for use in humans.
Ivermectin has been around for years and used to treat parasites in humans long before it was used on animals. Have a look at the attached and check out the website. There are many others around the world using the drug with great success. Ivermectin is used for bacteria and parasitic problems, not viruses, I find that strange.
But as I pointed out, according to the bible life doesn't start till birth. ergo there's no 'killing' involved Interesting point about the Eastern religions, but I'd suggest the murder and mistreatment of muslims across the far East tells a different story (though - religion is mixed up with politics in most conflict - religion is used as a crutch to support abhorrent behaviour rather than the actual root cause of that behaviour.
Once you are a fundamentalist (of any religion), you are open to any crazy theory that contradicts scientific orthodoxy.
Joe Rogan has also had medical professionals on his show to talk about it, give their reasoning behind it, why they prescribe it, etc. Not saying I agree with it but it’s good to have heard all the truths and facts rather than the random headlines online about it being a drug for animals.
Oxford University is also doing trials into its effectiveness as a prophylactic for Covid. Obviously taking animal quantities of this tuff is bonkers but there seems like there is some evidence of it having possible anti-viral effects to slow down the replication of the virus.
To be fair, the reason I quoted TM was because our views very often align on Covid, Lockdowns and Vaccines. My comment was about more than just this thread so quoting you wouldn’t have made sense.
A doctor I ‘know’ in LA prescribes it and is seeing an outperformance in her patients vs. those not taking it.
Out of interest what prompted her to start prescribing it, when as I understand it there haven't really been any studies into invermectin as a covid treatment yet?
Sorry, I hadn't seen your post. I don't appreciate any implication I co-opted any of it because you're female - of all the posters on here who might be accused of being sexist I think I'm pretty far down the list.
It was a light hearted joke, hence the cartoon format, as your post followed Loko’s. I wouldn’t post a meme if I was actually annoyed.
