Still playing regularly for Gibraltar. Also, he’s part of improvement of Lincoln Red Imps who have qualified for the conference Europa League group stage along with Spurs and other big teams.
I think it was Lincoln Red Imps who drew Celtic in The Europa League 4/5 years since. I remember the Talksport commentary, I think it was Collymore, who said he got a taxi from the airport, to the ground, and said to the taxi driver, “Are you going to the game tonight?”, to which the driver replied, “Going? I am playing”, and duly did.
The ground is actually at the side of the airport so would have been a cheap fare Sponsored by a former Lincoln director hence the name We were there last year when they played Rangers , strange how many fans flew over to watch the match in local bars as no fans were allowed in the stadium
Well, possibly Collymore flew into Mercia, by accident, then set off walking down the motorway for a day before flagging a taxi down… Point being, Wiseman ought to be their standout player. An ex-pro playing alongside a taxi driver, a plumber and a postman.
Id fancy my chances of getting on the bench for Gibraltar if that sack of **** is in their starting 11 One of the worst players we've ever had starting regularly for us and an horrible **** as well
The signing of Wiseman by Hill showed the fans what he thought about Sir Bobby. He couldn't lace his boots yet Hill showed utter contempt for Bobby . I would love to know how such a nice guy on and off the field pissed them both off both Hill and Flicker. Hill also showed lack of respect when he turned on the lifelong suporter in the West Stand ,by turning on him when he questioned why Bobby was not on the field, to the extent the fan got ejected from the ground. I'm not 100% sure whether the fan ever returned after this incident.
For me he was an honest League Two player thrown in at Championship level. Nowt against him, I’m sure he’s a decent enough bloke. Just didn’t fit the level the football club was operating at. Not his fault.
I dont understand the animosity. He might not have been the player we needed, but he always gave 100%. Can't ask for any more than that. Once a Red, always a Red.
