Crying out for experience in the midfield. Did we do anything about it in the transfer window? Did we eckers like.

A bit unfair that we were easily the better team and should have won.

The blueprint 50% of fans complained about? I thought we’d been ‘found out’ at the back end of last season?

This playing out from the back is absolutely crap.Goalkeeper has the ball and 4 of our players also in the box where they should be up the field instead of tiptoeing around and then we lose it or pass to one of their players.A lot of you are saying give them time or key players not fit but I truly can’t see this lot getting much better. That game was embarrassing and like it has just been mentioned on tv the gulf between both teams is huge now from last season.Long Long season this is going to be.

Bad result, awful performance, no positives for me. If we put in many more performances like that, the murmurings that are beginning to be heard for Markus Schopp's removal will become louder and louder.
We need to improve quickly, starting with Stoke on Wednesday.

Bloody awful is way too extreme and not factually correct. But after today I can get people saying that.

I’ve given more of my opinion on tactics in a different post. Freedom of movement isn’t aimless young kids going where they want.

The QPR first half was one of the best I’ve seen in years for quality of football played. That’s a HUGE chink of light.

We haven’t tried to pass through every team with every attack. We simply haven’t done that. We’ve varied it, but with limited options to freshen things up we’ve really struggled. I’ve never known us have to weaken the team so much by making subs. That won’t continue with the squad we have now providing they get up to speed and we don’t have more injuries.

That was a proper beating. Scoreline did us a favour.

Can't at present see what pattern we're trying to play. We seem to employ a half hearted hoof, without last season's driving cavalry to make sense of it. Meanwhile, it appears we've never planned to negate an opposition overlap.

Looks like we have talented individuals so all is not lost.

Forget top half finish and dig in for a finish above the bottom 3.

If they had taken only half of their clear-cut chances we would have lost by six or seven. The only chinks of light I detected was that Gomez did OK, and Styles was more like his usual self playing on the left. Cauley Woodrow is a major concern in my opinion. He looks totally out of his depth, and has done for a while. I so want to be wrong, but I can only see a season of struggle ahead.

He's got us playing how we did under Stendel. Pleasing on the eye but not the league table.

Trouble is,once he gets there he'll be off,i dont like being negative, makes you feel s..t., dont no if true, didnt fergie say no player should be on more than manager. Am saying that because theres 7m tv money by all accounts,so keep a good manager to make sure we get that first year on year.

The chinks of light being referenced in the messages there were for the season as a whole. Not just today.

Not seen game. Have only read this thread. However I would suggest, in spite of the pain of what sounds like another weak performance, that people dont judge things too harshly just yet. Schopp should still be given some time to get the squad moulded into his preferred style and tactics with the players of his genuine choice. I do think though that in another 3-4 games we ought to be seeing something in the way of progress. The team should be in better shape with injuries, fitness etc by then.
In other words its not all doom and gloom but it does need sorting sooner rather than later.

That's fair enough. For obvious reasons I would far prefer you to be right and me wrong. Time will tell, as always.

I agree. However, if it isn't I'd be getting rid.

It’s not about me being right. I’m not giving an opinion that I think Schopp is amazing, although I do think we’re a team that will finish four places either side of 12th with injuries dictating which way it goes.

I’m only providing my own view of why things are difficult right now. What I believe to be really valid reasons for us getting off to a slow start - but then I thought it was obvious it was going to be a slow start after last season and the Visa issues.
