That was a red card all day for Billing. He just took out Ben Williams nowhere near the ball. Looks like Ben cannot continue. Absolute sickener for him following last season.
On Frieser's long throws Helik is performing the Mads role of heading it on from the corner of the six yard area but there is no Helik in the middle to nod it in.
New striker is on bench in he, hope he gets longer than last 20mins, sibbick said he wa good,am relying on mi fellow fans for updates.
My dodgy 1st half ratings: Bradley Collins - Decent - some good stops, especially one at the end of the half Jasper Moon - Fine (I must admit I haven't really noticed him) Michal Helik - Excellent Toby Sibbick - Has looked good going forward Callum Brittain - Not bad but terrible final ball Ben Williams - Some good runs until he was assaulted Romal Palmer - A real talent Callum Styles - Fairly anonymous Cauley Woodrow - Not turned up at all, misplaced passes, silly fouls Dominik Frieser - Looked really sharp Clarke Oduor - Good in parts, his touch let him down as he burst into the area Gomes - Nothing of particular note so far but then he was unexpectedly pushed in there
Thanks bud mate, would i be right in saying these av drawn there first 2gmes and took the lead in both, if so, lets hope there bottoms in defence start to fall out.come on tarn, again thanx bud.
It looks like Bournemouth have identified us as a threat to them over the season and so have set about ensuring our injury list is long. Leya Iseka the latest to be scythed down. Frieser now taken down from behind.
Some positives here. A lovely turn in central midfield by Gomes, showing his composure on the ball. Then Iseka doing well down the left, putting the ball into an unmarked Woodrow near the penalty spot. Sadly Cauley was back to goal and couldn't control. But reasons to be optimistic.
Leya Iseka is playing a bit wide and looks like he can run with the ball. A bit like Morris maybe. Difficult to judge against this sometimes dirty sometimes good Bournemouth side.
Last season we would be able to replace Woodrow (who has had a stinker) to inject more venom but now, especially after having to replace Ben Williams so early on, we are dead on our legs.
I wouldn't read much into this result. A depleted Barnsley side struggling against a very good team who can attack at speed and from all channels. A ref who was very lenient with some disgraceful tackles. Things will get better.
