Generally I'm usually an half pint full opposed to being half empty. I've watched most of the game apart from the buffering. I can't pick a single positive out of this game to take into our midweek game. It's not as though Bournemouth were great ,we often just gave the ball to them. I didn't see much fight from a single player who could hold their head up. However the keeper kept the score down with a couple of saves. Help. Give me a positive please.
Bear in mind that the team Bournemouth put out probably cost as much as our entire historical transfer spend.
They had Woodgate in charge last season not Parker. We had Val and Mowatt, a fully match fit squad, and not 3/4 first teamers not even in the squad. We also played far, far better compared to the horror show today.
I said before the game it would get bad before it would get better. Today was a capitulation, although the ref could have sent one of their players off, if he had any balls. No worries, we'll be OK & get better.
