For me today saw some very bad signs and tbh some in the previousgames as well, too many players strolling around not putting 100% effort in, brittain, sibbick, styles, woodrow, odour to name a few.

Last year we had a manger who scared the players and wouldn't let them get away with it, under schopp looks like they already cba.

Whose to blame? should the players be looking in the mirror at themselves or is it the manager to motivate the players?

Either way bad signs so far

I thought exactly the same looked like they couldn't be ar@&d. Strolling back out of defence Collins distribution was awfull. Fair play to Bournemouth they pressed and worked hard

Only effort today came from Frieser. Gomez showed promise.

Yeah alot of cant be bothered attitude today, said in a previous post many players have gone backwards not sure what woodrow brings to the side spends more time looking for fouls on the deck. I think val was alot better motivator and organiser than schopp

Both sides are responsible. Schopp completely changed tactics that got us one of our best finishes in our entire history. The board signed players who were unfit or didn't have a visa to play. The guys already here look unfit and hamstring injuries should never happen but we have Williams limping off.

It's a combined effort by players and manager, physio, recruitment team. Entire unit is responsible for what happens on pitch. I'd actually go so far as to blame Doris the tea lady and Emmanuelle the cleaner....

Watching today, the players look lost so think the manager could be at fault although it’s early days.

They all need to take responsibility for today’s performance or not as in some case.
Some very weird formation changes with both players and the style of play,no shots on goal,no chances created it could and probably should have been more,in midfield lads are trying but not strong enough,Stoke away midweek we need to up the intensity for that one.

That’s like saying no injury should ever happen. I’ve seen many times players who have been at the peak of their fitness pull up with hamstring strains.

Stretch/warm up correctly and they shouldn't really happen.

No, of course stretching and warming up is essential prior to all strenuous exercise etc but to single out that hamstring injuries occur only directly as a result of this is just silly really.

Reason Williams went off was a dreadful challenge that took out his standing leg. Looked nasty and for sure wasn’t a hamstring pull. He might be out for a while

Only listened to a few seconds of the first half summary, and Radio Sheffield were on about a challenge on Williams that should’ve been a red, I guess that’s what they were on about, but let’s call it a hamstring injury it adds to the negativity

I don't care how rubbish a manager is, the players are paid to play and every match they should endeavour to play to the best of their ability. And our players are no longer completely inexperienced in the championship and most have played together for a while. Yes, if tactics aren't great they might not get the results but effort wise there is no excuse, they should be able to gee each other up.

Signed a new long term contract last October. Could that have anything to do with it?
