If we're in the bottom three and can't hit a Camel's arse with a banjo why waste games? Only thing that saved us in 19/20 was how early we sacked Stendel.
We have gone through too many managers in the last 30 years(not all our fault) let's get some stability in our club, give this lad a chance & when I mean a chance, I mean a chance, 2 or 3 seasons.
Is there some good cider areas with teams in the Ale House League. I know Accrington is a great experience but you don't play them every week .
Maybe so today was abysmal imo couldn't even win a corner players looking disinterested schopp apparently sat in the dugout at half time. Coventry was poor and we should have been beat we have to start picking up points and improving performances or the board have to act we have a good group of players here imo
Line up looked very poor today before a ball was kicked. Bournemouth have far too many very good players and it showed. When the coach gets his full complement of players and gets "his style" ingrained into them, ill judge him then. Remember he is trying to get them to pass and play......its going to take a while. This front 3 are as weak as we have fielded as a unit for ages.
Apart from the first 45 minutes against qpr iv seen nothing that would inspire confidence. How wev amassed the points total we currently have is miraculous considering the performances. But yes let's see how a full strength starting 11 performs.
In Schopp’s defence, he’s taken over a side that has lost its captain, vice captain, main goal threat and then next biggest goal threat we had second half of last season was injured in the 2nd league game. Add to that the new strikers that the club brought in we’re having to wait for visas, then it can hardly be a surprise that we go long spells not looking like scoring. I don’t think Ismael would’ve done much better in those circumstances. That said, I think he might do well to simplify things a bit. Pick a formation and stick with it, and draw a line under last season. Ismael’s style isn’t easily replicated, that’s why not many do it and I suspect why Ismael himself has never stayed in the same job for very long. Schopp just needs to stamp his own identity on the team. Hopefully Vita, Benson and Andersen are back in the side soon and improve things as well.
Spot on, no point in getting attached to these head coaches. Yes I was pissed off Val left but it works both ways for me. If they're good over a short term period and they want to move on then it's not ideal but we have to accept it so long as BFC get decent compo. If they're crap then they should be sacked...
Sorry, it doesn't work like that anymore. Everything about our head coaches is short term... If they're good they want to move on, if they're not doing anything then why should we stick with them?
I take it you did not watch the match at Cardiff then , where I thought we played very well but today we were shocking but I am just trying to add some balance .
I did watch it yeah, two poor teams on show that day I thought and we could/should have lost the game.
The stability (and continuity) was supposed to come from the backroom staff - making it much easier to “plug in” a new coach. Let’s not forget there has been upheaval there too.
