    People can criticise our attack all they want but out defence is ******* awful and has been all season. The amount of times our full backs are beaten and the central defenders completely fail to deal with any ball into the box is staggering. Not one of them is championship standard so far this year I'm afraid. Not one.

    Many times last season he got caught out but because we hunted the ball in packs and pressed like nutters those mistakes didn't hurt us.

    Such a poor goal to concede, so easy for Stoke

    We've actually started sort of OK but we just don't look enough of a genuine threat and I'm so worried about us defensively

    It’s like we do zonal marking in open play. That was a line of three centre backs all ball watching. Awful

    What an absolute joke that was organisation and marking a shambles. Joe Allen plays the most simple one two with nobody bothered to mark him

    Really concerning, we were playing okay but didn’t look like scoring, meanwhile Stoke just strolled it into the net, why are we so poor? Bournemouth was embarrassing but no bite tonight either.

    Trying so hard to play between the lines, to look nice and pretty. You're so exposed when you commit players forward. There's a time and place to play nice football, in the final 3rd. We're a makeshift team, it's about playing it safe.

    I’d be happy with a goal tbh. It’s not looking good when you can’t score and then defend like that. This is just like the Struber season and I’m not here for it.

    I don’t see that. The players, individually and collectively, don’t seem to know what there role is. I don’t know what it is either.

    Thing is it's not the same defence as last season is it? Desperately missing Anderson, no experience to replace Sol, and Sibbick isn't a RWB.
