Callum Brittain is not a central midfielder on that showing.

He's far more effective at right wing-back, certainly on how he performed last season.

 

It is, but I think it's hormonal/instinctual than anything else. I'd rather they did a bit of posturing and scrapping between themselves than inflicting themselves on young ladies.

I liked the look of the lad Hondermarck when he came on. Big unit is exactly what we need in the middle. We’re way too lightweight in there.

 

Don`t know thought it was tactical to shove Brittain wide to get Gomes on centrally.

 

Well deserved point purely for the way we battled, especially 2nd half. However we must learn to defend better, all over the pitch, and that midfield needs sorting. Gomes needs to start next game along with Victor, as he looks more of a threat up top using his physicality, something we’ve lacked in recent weeks. Tough game on Saturday, but hopefully this gives them and Schopp a kick up the arse!

 

That’s been a big factor in most games this season. Simple ball from one wing to the other usually means a chance of a shot unopposed.

 

You're right, I'm not male so I find it interesting to understand how a male thinks based on the different ways we have both been conditioned. I honestly don't understand why you'd be worried that your lad isn't having a fight. I presume you wouldn't be worried if your daughter didn't have a fight? If she can grow up with her head screwed on without one, I'm sure your son can too. There's loads of ways to be superior to someone that doesn't involve being stronger, I'd personally probably consider that last of all features that might determine superiority, unless it was a strength competition.

 

Schopp doesn't look comfortable in front of the camera either. Hopw he's not feeling the pressure.

 

If Gomes is to start next game he should get a kick up arse from Helik every time he tried to trible past three players ten yards from our goal

 

that was a good result tonight. Stoke have opened their season very strong so to me I feel we had a very good away point tonight. O wards and upwards.

 

Victor made a difference and a bit of bite. The team played better in the second half…. Buts that not hard considering how woeful they were in the first. Brad C is m.o.m. For me.
