    Or go to and look for recently retired players who can be tempted out of retirement for a few months because the defenders we're playing each week at the moment are dog ****

    They've got contracts as professional footballers and the current lot are gash so you have to change it. It's bonkers to keep them in when they've proven themselves completely incompetent at the moment.

    I agree.

    Drop the entire defence that has conceded less than 9 (I think ) other teams in the championship and is missing a number of players this season so far (Anderson, Williamsx2, kitchen) for the kids.

    I mean I’m not sure why I’m engaging with such a ridiculous post. Have I been trolled?

    Got them out of the **** about 10 times. His heroics shouldn't hide the performance of the defenders

    I’m fairly sure the op has me on ignore or at least is choosing to not engage with my point.

    Of course Collins played excellent. But to suggest it was solely down to defenders is ridiculous.

    but again. Im sure I’ve been blocked because I have the audacity to call out the extreme nature of their posts and the simpler way to deal with it is to ignore rather than defend their opinions.

    tonight we had a back 3 that included a player that hasn’t started at centre back in god knows how long and a kid from the academy. Wing backs were a centre back who’s not played that role for us before and a player who’s not played that position that much this season. In front of them we had a full back playing centre mid and then in second half a young lad who’s hardly played any first team football and later a debutant

    All in all that’s a solid point
