    Interestingly he was signed for Devaney's developmental squad.....

    Yet in the week or so he's been with us he has made his first team debut and been in the squad for two games. Up to him with so many lads out for one reason or another to do all he can to avoid ever being in the developmental squad. I think he's been forced to play before his time because we are low on numbers. But if he keeps doing well when he gets a chance then he won't just disappear out of matchday squads when we get back to hopefully having a full squad to choose from.

    He didn’t look out of place, in fact looked like just what we needed for the last 15 mins at qpr, when we ended up with Halme and moon in centre mid.

    Makes you wonder why he only played 3 games for Harrogate on loan from January till end of season unless he had a injury.

    If he hadn't come on against Stoke we might have lost. I'd start him with Gomes in the middle with Palmer being out of form and Benson isolating.

    Has he surprised the coaches with his level of readiness for first team action?
    I`d keep sticking him on the bench for now FWIW.

    Apparently Palmer is a doubt for tomorrow, and Benson is still in isolation, so Hondermarck will be on the bench again tomorrow.

    According to Chronicle he had an unsuccessful trial at Notts County before he came to us - wonder what we saw that they didn't ?
