Please Gior with that fancy back flick. It failed every time, of which there were several. (Even I could read it) And led to the penalty.

You’d think he might get the hint after being hauled off at half time, but we’ll see.

My preferred midfield is still Benson and Palmer, but we need options.

I think Styles and Gomes will provide those options now.

To make matters worse, there was a clear pass to his right where Sibbick was in acres of space. No idea who that flick was meant to be for.

He looked well of the pace last night and was not surprised to see him subbed

Whats got him into the team and holding a place is by keeping it simple. He's found a few ‘points scoring’ passes with it this season. What might get him out of the side is over complicating it and taking fancy risks.

Opinions but I think styles has been poor in the middle this season.

I" m not sure Styles improves the midfield, I think he is far more effective at wing back

At this moment in time he is definitely more effective at wingback but I think with the attributes he possesses he should make an excellent midfielder.

Just needs time in the middle really, but that is a luxury we might not be able to give him if there are better performers in the squad.

Maybe, but he is still an option for midfield. Especially if Vita is any hood. Personally, I’d like to see him in a role where he can influence the game in the opposition half, with a left back behind him.

I thought palmer was awful. 1st match ive been to in 18months. Well off it, fancy flicks to nobody. Personally he is not a championship level player. League 2 maybe just my honest opinion. Styles was superb as was collins

So on a 45 minute display you have decided that the lad is division 2 class ,well thank goodness you are not responsible for squad assembly , Palmer is not the finnished article & yet he played a big part of us being in this division when Struber brought him in for the great escape, his form is up and down but I think he deserves the support of the fans & hopefully he continues to develop into a good championship player, he certainly has the potential.

I’d like to see the lad Hondermarck develop in the middle. From his cameo midweek, I liked the look of him. Got stuck in & broke up play. Exactly the type of player we need. We look too lightweight in the middle & no place to be showboating with fancy flicks etc.

So it turns out Palmer was injured on Wednesday. So probably not ‘hauled off’ and ‘subbed off’ Perhaps he was asked to try to hold out to half- time so changes could be made then. Just a thought like

Problem is when he's playing wide he's suspect defensively' bad positional play and lack of pace makes him easy to exploit' having said that i do like him ' i'd like to see him playing at the point of a midfield diamond buzzing about behind the front 2...
