There were 2 contestants on from Barnsley yesterday, Richard Osman said he found the Barnsley dialect great. They got to the final 2 pairs but lost so they will be back on Monday.
Talking of our accent, I was listening to Planet Rock Radio Yesterday Morning and the presenter played a song by a band called Theer, he then said this is not someone from Barnsley saying There, the band really are called theer
Speaking of The Chase, there was an ex marine boxer from Royston on the other day. George Crotty I think. He didn't get through to the final though.
The Chase any day of the week . Just to watch Bradley Walsh ,his sense of humour is brilliant, also pure entertainment watching him rip the piss out of the dark destroyer. Plus the Cinnaman as such quick wit and is so humble towards the contestants.
The fanny shmelling was hilarious. Wish I could post it on here. Even though you have seen it it is comedy classic
Looking forward to Bradley Walsh bringing blankety blank back on bbc, that starts soon. His humour and wit will make that a good watch.
Yes, he did a one off Christmas special last year and they commissioned a series, Ive seen the ad/trailer on bbc. Didn’t give a date, just said coming soon. As you say, blankety blank was quality with les Dawson. I watched it with Lily Savage but it wasn’t the same - I think Bradley Walsh will be great though.
It surprises me some of the answers he come up with. He's more intelligent than he makes out. He plays a daft lad quite well though. Mike Bassetts assistant coach.
Alexander Armstrong....apparently he's related to William the Conqueror.... but I seem to recall his "joke " when he said "Apparently I drove through Barnsley once. No idea , as I blinked and missed it"
Absolutely. Pointless seems so, well, pointless. They battle through 4 rounds to win a thousand quid, which they have to split. So, what are you hoping to do if you win the jackpot? Well, Alexander, once we have caught the train home, I am hoping to have enough left over for a chippy tea.
