Collins earned us the point with that good save in the second half, when they were 1v1.

Halme is a good but his passing wasn’t good today.

Sibbick is decent at RWB, but I prefer him at the back.

Gomes played a few good balls (that defence splitting ball to Woodrow was great) and made some good tackles, but he fell to bits in the second half. It was the right call to sub him off.

Styles is our best player - he’s the one who makes decisive moves and has real quality on the ball. No half-hearted flicks with him. Great tackler too.

Adeboyejo played well when he came on. He looks like one of our best options up front now now.

Oduor was better today. He’s better when he gets on the ball. Really wish he’d buried it after that great run!

A few points not to do with the match......

What's the point of phase 5?

Why do stewards never stop people from blocking gangways?

Why did we underestimate the away following to put the netting in the wrong place?

How piss poor is 1,647 away fans for that short distance where they are in the league?

Surely the pitch isn't struggling already for excess grass to be raked off just before kick off with the players all on the pitch?

What was wrong with the scoreboard?

Phase 5 was hilarious when the steward in front of the Ponty wasn't sure which side of the wall he should be.

Would go with most of that. But why the negative. With Collins earned us a point.
I can think of several instances where they were fortunate not to concede. Including a 1v1.

You could say that but their 'keeper did too. We were the better side today, especially in the 2nd half and should have won. But it balances out, we should have lost at Stoke.

Bit worried. I haven't heard anyone blame the referee yet.

Tony Mowbray tried reffing the 2nd half but the ref was having none of it.

I did think the ref had a good game today. Sure we've already had him once this season and I wasn't nearly as impressed, but it was hard to criticise his performance over 90 minutes today.

I thought Halme was a bit “weird” today. I quite like him but he seemed to ‘jump and then not attack the ball’ a few times today, not sure why.

I’ve just said about Victor in another thread that I don’t have confidence that he’ll score. So, for me, he’s still well down the pecking order and if we have a fully fit squad, I don’t think he makes the matchday squad.

Pretty much agree with the other points though.

Not liked him since May 2000. Always want to beat his clubs. Kevin Friend as 4th official must have got ear ache off him.

Me either, but it's part and parcel of the game now and it's important the ref and his assistants can stand up to it. 9/10 for the red today.

Halme flew in 2 footed on a player 2nd half he missed the whole ponty went ooooooh, if he made contact he would have broke the kids legs.

Victor offers something abit diffrent and today and stoke he was decent and worked hard ive no confidence in many of the front 3 scoring exept maybe cauley.

Nobody seems to mention Moon much. I thought he had another good game today. Massive plus being comfortable on both feet when we're playing out from the back.

A phase 5 procedure is a safety drill (dummy run)which is required to be undertaken 2-3 times a season. It is a timed simulation of stewards and police procedures in the event of an incident that requires the evacuation of the stadium. There is usually a representative of the EFL in attendance to witness the test. It’s noticeable how many spectators in their ignorance make silly and derogatory comments at the time. Perhaps they would moderate their derision if they knew that this practice may save their life in the event of a real threat.
