Think there's some missing context, the ball was dead, he was taking a free kick. By right the other player had no reason to be there, and Lansbury could argue he would not have expected him to be in the way. In reality he knew full well what he was doing but I'm glad he did, no sympathy for this type of shithousery.
Who got booked Lansbury or the Swansea Cheat because I’d only be showing a card to the player who was clearly trying to cheat
Hope he didn’t get booked for that. Eyes fully on the ball and focusing on getting the ball up the pitch. We’ve got that kind of Swansea cheating to look forward to when Cooper brings Forest to Oakwell in ten days.
I'm surprised the police weren't interested in that. It was a dead ball. The referee had already gave a free-kick. It's assault.
Both don’t come out of that looking good to me. The Swansea player is obviously cheating and Lansbury clearly knows what he’s doing too. Trying to get the ball up quickly? Weren’t they 3-0 up at that point? And we all saw how slow Luton were to get playing at Oakwell during stoppages.
Served him right, maybe that ought to be the punishment going forward for kicking the ball away at a free kick. The team with the free kick gets a free kick at the player who kicks it’s away.
