That's what I thought. Ran out to catch it, straight through his hands. Never seen oakwell empty so much and so quick
I think Colgan was suspended. I'm sure I remember Colgan getting sent off and the sub keeper pinching one into an opposition striker. Could be way out though.
Not sure about that one but the one at Oakwell he ran out to catch a cross and ran under it . I was at the match but can’t remember the opposition but I’d got QPR at home near end of season and QPR were promoted or got into Div 1 playoffs . Obviously I could be miles out with opposition and time of season but it was definitely at home .
I remember him at home ......... probably on more than one occasion. I seem to remember him at Oakwell on a televised game too. Then again, I am the man who remembers Alex Neil playing 'a handful of games' for the Reds.
I recall Adrian Viveash playing in the away game at Crystal Palace where we wore the blue and black striped shirts with the really tight collars on a boiling hot day. Not sure if he played for us again, and if so if it was at Oakwell, but he was the first name that sprang to mind.
I believe the televised game was Preston away. He came on when Colgan was sent off, and parried a low ball across the box straight to their attacker.
Personally, I rated Kevin Miller as our worst goalkeeper, god knows how he conned his way to over 100 games for us.
I don't remember him being bad, just maybe standard. I always thought (without ever checking) that he was a player who just followed Dave Bassett around.
Jordan Smith, an emergency loan keeper from Forest played away v Accrington in the 18/19 promotion season. Played in just the one game and did okay as I recall. We won 2-0
