There does need to be some signs that the team is progressing even without some players available. Schopp has been here long enough now for the shape of the team and the tactics and mentality to be imprinted on the players. At the end of the day the players on the pitch are the ones the manager puts there on the day and are told to do specific jobs. None of them tomorrow are useless so lets now see some clear signs that they are gelling and are fully tuned in to what Schopp wants. A good performance is needed whatever the result.
Of course we need to be more patient it's very early days, we did massively over achieve last season and it's not a popular opinion but if we continue to have one of the lowest budgets in the league eventually we will be relegated again.
And don’t forget, by the end of the season, our ‘system’ had been well and truly found out, It was so good that it didn’t even last a full season.
