I don’t mind us being crap

Or clearly inferior to others.

One thing I can’t stomach is being out fought week in week out! That is currently what is happening at the minute. And no thanks to the current head coach. The majority of these players earned us a play off spot last season, thanks in part to Vals leadership. So I’m sorry, but the players aren’t at fault here. Now don’t get me wrong I wasn’t expecting another top 6 finish, far from it. But I expected us to still compete on the pitch. Yes we’ve had numerous injuries, but a good manager wouldn’t still try and implement a completely different style of play straight from the off, especially with so many injuries throughout the squad. It’s all about gradual changes, especially with a club the size of ours.

Ultimately the choice of head coach falls at the owners, & unfortunately it looks like they’ve appointed someone out of his depth, it happens, hopefully they can do something about it before it’s too late!

 

I find it disgusting that we're not up for the battle. That's the bare minimum that's expected.

 

I imagine the higher-ups will be frantically dialling a few numbers over the next week...

 

Surely the players have the responsibility to fight though too. It can't all be down to the manager?

 

I do mind us being crap, but i can forgive it on occasions. I mind it if we dont fight but i also have seen fight in most of these players so whats changed? I cant help thinking things aren't great in the camp. Players dont look comfortable with the formation and tactics. It just doesn't look right to my untrained eye.

 

We know for a fact that the players aren't rubbish. The majority of the squad are very far from being rubbish. So that means one of two things: either they aren't trying very hard as they don't want to play for Schopp, which I would think extremely unlikely. Or, they are unable play anywhere near as well as they undoubtedly can do, due to the system which we're using being completely unsuitable.

 

Bet they're not. They couldn't give a flying ****. They'll still be congratulating themselves in "the best transfer window ever" and banking 2 million for Ismael.

 

I think that depends on what they’re being asked to do. They look like they’re not sure of the plan to me….

Grow up man. They've appointed a manager based on the 'spreadsheet', which has been proven successful with a string of good managers. He looked a great prospect on paper did schopp considering what he did in Austria. But sometimes they get it wrong and this could be one of them. But to suggest they're not ar5ed because they've got a couple of Bob for our previous head coach is ludicrous
