Don't forget Bolton, But I do get your point and think he should be given longer but more in hope than faith.
True, that decision would need making sooner rather than later. Maybe Struber might have been if he'd stayed!
Much too early to think of a change. I know it is easier said than done but he needs to coach them into scoring goals. Surely these new strikers should be fit enough to start games now even if they can only last 45 - 60 minutes. Have they be living on Big Macs during their he close season?
They won't sack him as that will cost them money and no one is going to meet his release clause to take him off our hands so I'm afraid we're stuck with him!
I think Xmas is too long to give him we seem to be getting worse not better. If there is no improvement in the next few games we have to find a planB. I’m not a fan of early manager sacking but there have to be signs that we aren’t going backwards and at the minute that seems to be our current direction. Win on Wednesday and maybe things start to turn but another 2 performances like today and the knives will be out
Agree with all of that. 6 points from the first 5 games was an alright return all things considered, but 2 from the next 4, with only one goal scored is nowhere near good enough. He has to learn fast, and stop blaming the players. He’s trying to be too technical in a physical league. And he’s playing a style that doesn’t suit the formation that he’s picking. Something has to give. Hopefully he figures it out.
The longer I have to reflect on today, the more I think he's going to get sacked, soon. I don't necessarily want him to be sacked, but I can understand why he might be. No doubt my view is coloured by having spent the afternoon in a píssed-up, píssed-off away section. If we only get one point - or less - from the next two games, we'll have had more-or-less a quarter of the season, and there'll be an international break for the owners to think really hard about pulling the trigger. And I wouldn't be surprised, or outraged, if they did.
Hes ******* ****. I have all faith in players like moon. But nowhere near good enough. Recruitment as I said was embarrassing. Dont give me "we can't afford to blown money on so and so" look at luton. We do have some clever players but this manager is shocking. I'm all for forcing him out
Not called for a manager's head so early into a job ever. Came close with Viv Anderson because those were dark days at times. You couldnt call for Glynn Hodges' head bless him during the very dark times plus he wasn't a permanent fixture. However you get a feeling, I've got that sinking feeling I had when we appointment Flitcroft permanently, continued with Steve Parkin, persisted with Keith, brought Danny Boy back. The feeling I got under the Portuguese Lion and Tiger impersonator was just simply WTF! I've not quite got the feeling I had under Johnson once I'd learn about the existence of "bomb alley". I'm still to locate bomb alley (heard it might be near Altrincham) but still feel uncontrollable rage whenever I hear it mentioned.
Because we've won once in nine league games and look like we couldn't score in a free brothel staffed by rabid nymphomaniacs. The performances rather than improving as the new manager and players get in sync with the existing squad are getting worse. The manager appears to have convinced the board he'd play the club's way during his interview but then forgotten what that way was once he started the job. He's turned a team of young fit warriors with a winning mentality into a team of weak unfit wasters in a matter of weeks.
Yes every time ilisten to his interviews he doesn’t sound convincing and how he is going to sort it. Seriously he needs to go now.
