    Not strictly true is it?

We've also had 2 other strikers out with various issues.
We've also had Kitching out for 3 games.
    Benson out for multiple games.
Palmer out for a couple of games.
    Both Williams been out injured.

That's a lot of key players to be missing in just 9 games.

Can you explain the diabolical team selection and tactics yesterday with many more players to chose from?

As has been said to you a thousand times, yesterday was poor. Our start hasn't been ideal. But many feel there are mitigating circumstances to this and that to sack him after 9 league games is extremely knee jerk.

**** me it isn't a difficult concept to grasp. Nobody thinks he's the second coming of Bob Paisley. Just that bairning after nine games is rather premature.

    That's it. Please understand this.

My opinion and your opinion of premature after what I've seen so far may vary very differently. Please understand that.

Not seen anything of Benson or Kitching so far to earn the right for them to be called key players yet and neither Williams are key players with neither having many starts over different head coaches. Key players would be mainly those we've had available all season like Woodrow, Collins, Styles and Helik.

The majority of people want to sack the manager after only 9 games, when we're not in the relegation zone.

Have a word with yourselves. Wednesdayesque.

Can’t see him going anywhere anytime soon tbh, not been here long it would be expensive to sack him and then pay compensation for a new manager.
I know it would cost money if we went down but I don’t think we will whatever.
So I think the message from the top will be patience, and tbh at this stage I think that’s fai.

I ticked no instead of the Christmas option. We have 15 games left including boxing day to get to that point. It's frustrating but given the circumstances I still think we should allow him a little more time - however if we lose the next 9 games, for example, then yes, id want him gone before Christmas :)

Christmas is way too late unless we start to improve and not with performances but with points on the board.
I've been dubious about him since pre season where he was wasting time playing players who were not Championship quality and in positions they didn't even play in normally.
That said I'd like to seehim with Morris back in the team and hopefully one of the Belgians settled in. We don't have much time left though before the season has degenerated into a relegation fight with a dispirited squad.
I'd give him another five or six games but the way things are shaping it's not looking like we'll be any better off by then.

But how long do you give it? If we don’t win either of these next two then it’s going to be very difficult for him.

We need to pick up some form before January. To move away from the relegation zone and help with any negotiations we get into with any existing or potential new players.

I've only ever wanted one sacked and that was Lee Johnson. This guy is already testing my patience though. If some of the things that he's doing/not doing are true then he's walking on thin ice and we haven't got to the end of September.

That's how I see it wait too long and we will be sucked into a relegation scrap by Xmas 1 goal in last 4 games, 6 goals all season. 1 win in 10 games footballs awful to watch, tactic and team selection mind boggling players looking lost. Come January if we still have schopp and we carry on this form and football were going to be in a relegation scrap, key players may want out in January, recruitment will be harder as players won't fancy coming for a relegation scrap. Big week for schopp for me.

My head, my heart and my eyes are telling me Schopp is a dud. Nothing personal, but I've seen nothing to suggest things will improve. Might as well admit the mistake and rectify it now, rather than burning more games and points just to delay the inevitable.

    That's a very fair question!
I'm not defending him, that would be really difficult at the moment, but unless we have a list of potential replacements at this stage of a season replacing him would look to be either a long or expensive process and presumably someone in recruitment saw something in him.
I also don't think he should shoulder all the blame, we knew our shortcomings but the so called 'strengthening' signings are seem not to be viewed as good enough by him ( maybe he's wrong).
Also the players, whether they are not in their preferred position or not, they are clearly capable of the basics ( as demonstrated in the past) so there is no excuse for some of the shoddy passing/crossing and attempts on goal, that are either wayward or have the power to be little more than a backpass to the opposing keeper!

The start to the season has been awful. We've thrown away everything that worked last season.

I have no faith in Schopp. I don't know what we're trying to do this season. The press seems to have disappeared, and I thought that was our "DNA" now.

I think he's a flop, but it's probably fair to give him more time. If we lose the next two... maybe it's time.

I would say that Schopp is different to all our other managers recently, in that he took on a great squad tht did really well last season. Why should he need time to fix the squad?

Can only echo what many people have said already. I've seen very little so far, to give me confidence that Schopp has a clear plan. Either on or off the pitch. I have no loyalty to manager/coaches anymore. My loyalty is to BFC, and I judge them on their performance alone. So far for me, his performance has been really poor. If I didn't see a serious improvement over the next 6 games, I think I'd be pulling the trigger.

Let's be right - if he'd got off to a flier and we found ourselves top 6, he'd already have his agent on red alert.

Someone must have seen something in him to appoint him, but I'd love to know what data they used this time, because everything we were told about him before the season started, and everything we have seen since tells us that he isn't a coach that likes a high press. So it's an appointment that goes against everything the owners have said about Head Coach appointments in the last few years.

Of course, it might be simply a case of we have exhausted all options of coaches within our budget that have successfully executed a high press with previous clubs.

I voted for Christmas (I'm not a turkey) but on reflection, I'm drifting slightly towards getting rid. We've had no great squad upheaval over the summer and only two really significant players are missing (Mowatt and Dike) yet we are playing more like a bunch of kids on the park than the steamroller we were in winter/spring this year. Teams feared us and radically changed their tactics to try and nullify us, now they just turn up and we roll over.

I'm not sure it's entirely down to the change of tactics; the squad is good enough to play to any system with a modicum of success - but that is partly to blame. So what is it? What's gone wrong? It can only be the relationship between manager and players; they would have run through brick walls for VI.

Give him till the next international break, ie the next 2 games.

Having said all that, the owners will be reluctant to sack him because that costs money.

Not even remotely high press for me. In fact, from what I've seen so far it's the polar opposite. The intensity from last season has all but disappeared. We look so easy to play against.
