Yes. 3 hours free at weekends up to 5pm with 50p per half hour for over the 3 but completely free after 5pm. Arrive just after 2 and it's free till the end of the day with no rush back after the game.
Come off Alhambra roundabout on same exit as Alhambra car park and go straight across at traffic lights. Then you spiral upwards about 4 or 5 floors to entrance.
It was in the initial plans, then that changed. Exiting onto Alhambra Roudabout from there is atrocious when it’s quiet, add all the extra traffic and it’s impossible for it not to back up. Lights were also meant to be going on Pontefract Road at the junction with Lambra Road, not sure why that never happened. Not many are using the car park currently, but suspect it’ll get busier once the cinema and restaurants are open.
Couldn't be the location of this new Dutch style roundabout could it? Maybe they didn't build one originally because they'd applied for funding for one instead?
Other than the funding article I’ve seen no other documents about this roundabout. If the article is accurate and the roundabout is in the town centre, I’d have to assume it’s town end. The Alhambra roundabout has underpasses and there aren’t any other traditional roundabouts in the town centre aside from those two.
