From about 3:20. We started brightly and I liked the look of our front three. However, we then seemed to revert back to the norm. The players certainly seem to singing from a different page to Schopp. Bialkowski in the Millwall goal could've come and sat with us in the stands in the second half. We're creating nothing and unless it's from a set piece, we simply don't look like scoring from open play. If we now have a style, a method of playing, it escapes me. I hope the injury which forced Iseka off isn't too serious. Very down and disillusioned tonight.
Iseka was a ray of light. Imagine him in a confident team? Very down here too, long day, long drive, cold, wet, fed up . And Strictly is on .....
Got to disagree Mr Biglil We were a damn sight better than Wednesday but we are lacking leadership wise
Agreed. I thought he looked decent. Hope it was cramp, not a hamstring injury. Hard to tell. Nice to see one of the Millwall players trying to help him TBH.
I’m hoping Iseka just had cramp and hasn’t done his hamstring, he looked assured and very comfortable on the ball which is something we sometimes lack.
That's fair enough. It'd be a poor site if we all agreed on everything. But I stand by every word I've posted.
We have almost exactly the same starting 11 as last term, yet we have gone massively backward. I know and appreciate that last season was a one off and we over achieved, but the rapid decline in this team has been astounding
oh no , reading that kind of comment from you is like finding the canary on the bottom of his cage with his feet in the air
We could not have been worse than the second half versus Forest, or the whole of the Blackpool game. I wasn't expecting too much, but I just saw more bizarre tactical decisions & substitutions from a coach that is taking us to L1 & has ripped the heart out of the squad. Millwall were poor too, but not as dire as we were.
No Mowatt, Morris, Mads, Dike. 4 key players imo and more importantly a different manager. And maybe we're missing Chaplin too, he always seemed like a cheerful soul and no doubt would bouy up the dressing room. And then the older, wiser head of Solly.
We didn’t have Morris and Dike for the first half of the season either but we were doing OK. Hard to look beyond the Manager for the key reasons for the total collapse of the team
His eyesight is decent. Anyone who thinks we're doing OK needs to go to Specsavers or has a genuine religious faith that has Marcus Schopp as their religious guru. Just don't drink the Cool Aid if anyone reading this is of the latter persuasion.
Me too mate. If you don't have a shot on target you can't score. People lambasted the "anti-football" last season. Well someone please tell me what I'm watching now, because it's not my kind of football
No but we had Matty James to shore up midfield. I think it's too easy to dump everything on the manager, there's more to it than that.
