He has been poor this season but the teams a lot worse. Only really Helik & Collins reaching last seasons standards.
You're comparing a child's football team to a championship first xi. Mental Just sack Schopp and let the lads coach themselves, sound.
No, but they should be able to cummicate amongst themselves, stay back for extra training ( mowatt used to) let's accept the manager isn't ideal, it doesn't stop the players from plugging any gaps.
Personally think both these too have gone backwards slightly. Collins seems to be making quite a few mistakes this season ( nothing to do with his shot stopping which has been top drawer.) distribution been poor and given straight to opposition on occasions, sweeper keeper when you expected mistakes last season he dealt with it very well. Helik just doesn`t seem as commanding this time round for me, maybe Andersen back will see that improve. All players after last season seem to be confused and lacking confidence under this manager.
Note the ‘coughing’ he does in 2 parts of the interview. That cough is a sign for fans to take note. He coughs nowhere else at all - it’s a forced ‘coded’ cough. It’s bizarre even typing this post up, but it’s true…..
He's in no position to moan about the final third when he skied wide one of our best opportunities of the match. Styles should take some blame for passing to him in the first place. I am genuinely shocked we have players who choose to pass to Brittain to shoot when we have a goal scoring opportunity.
I didn’t hear it like that. I just thought it was a very open, honest ‘take’ on the current situation from a young footballer. It was refreshing to hear that to be honest. I didn’t think he was having a pop at the coach, more an admission that the players and coaches needed to get their finger out.
Do we think he is in danger and he is trying to let us know??....... I hope there isn't a 'two week injury' coming his way
I took it as that as well. I would imagine they would prefer Val back and winning matches like they were last season but that isn't going to happen. As he says, hard work on the training ground and hopefully we find out shooting boots.
Simply pointing out that the lad has no composure. Should have scored v Chelsea and in the play-off game v Swansea. He gets in great positions but his finishing is woeful. All professional footballers should be able to hit the net from 6 yards when one on one. We defend mediocrity at BFC, it’s admirable, but we should be honest if we have ambitions to move forward.
That's 2 opportunities in his time here. Goals from a right back are a bonus and not an appropriate measure of his performance.
