Anyone heard anything about Benson and Schopp

The reason I don't do Twitter.

 

So the guy can’t win?
When he was found to be inaccurate about the Visa issues he was and is still criticised and when he doesn’t say something inaccurate he should have.

 

This is what gets me. People properly lap up negative rumours about the club, happy to accept as fact without absolutely zero evidence. Find it utterly bizarre

 

I have to use social media for work purposes, but my personal accounts are practically dead these days.

 

I take it that you are on the wind up or have never seen Benson play , he is clearly championship class & a big miss when he is not playing

 

I never saw the tweet. As you know, I don't read Barnsley twitter.

It was a strange rumour to start though. I mean, he does return to the dugout earlier than you'd normally expect. But that's because the subs are warming up as soon as the half-time whistle goes so he came out a few minutes earlier to get his messages across to Aaron.

It's all very weird.

But after six games last season I saw similar nonsense about Gerhard and there was just as much moody angst about the club then too. Probably worse actually.

I'd like to think we can push up the table again. I don't expect top six, but who knows. We're missing eight first teamers at the minute. I'd love to see how other clubs would be coping in the same circumstances. Wonder what Forest's excuse is?

Results are everything. It's a fickle game.

That post is one of the best posts I've seen on here......and if one's brain was wired up that way, why would you continue supporting the club you supposedly love support and follow?
That's some weird psychological **** right there.

 

The Sunday sport sometimes gets it right, I remember one headline stating “Barnsley man caught with trousers around his ankles watching squirrel porn”

 

I've lost the run of this. Was anything said pre match about Benson not being in the squad?

 

I lost it with Squirrel porn. Was Benson caught with his trousers round his ankles firing one off to squirrel porn? Does shop dislike squirrel porn? You'd think he loves it being from Austria with all them Alpine Nuts.

 

Good question about Schopp, given he has never denied it there must be some truth in it.
Also because the club hasn’t issued a statement over it, it must be true, disgusting they haven’t released at least 12 words on the subject.
Surely as fans we have a right to know?

Only joking players and manager are always falling out. Just tell Benson to duck when the teacups are heading towards his head.

 

Turns out Benson's absence was COVID related.

Turns out the answer was a shockingly clueless manager, who they've now binned off and left us behind amongst the dead men of the bottom 3. Maybe we ought to consider a similar approach?
