Another traditional club reduced to a sportswashing front for a horrendous regime. The supporters should be protesting, not celebrating.

I mean say Newcastle win the league in the next few years, if you are a die hard Newcastle fan, could you really celebrate & feel good about it considering the only reason they will have won is due to having **** loads of money all of a sudden, not because you’ve employed a good manager & managed to bring through some world class academy players with some other astute signings. Much like Man City really, boring!

    Too right Helen.
Having worked up here for many years now I have grown to dislike the sense of entitlement their fans have.
Their treatment of Steve Bruce has been appalling and far from being the best fans around as they appear to think they are, my view is that they are instead the biggest whingers in English football.
Now owned by a load of human rights abusers.

Aye, he's just ripped the heart out of the club in the process - but his back pocket's been bulging so all good.

Come on, really? That Aguero goal would be right up there in the greatest moment of most City fans lives

And I was at the Etihad for the 5-0 tonking we received in the FA cup thanks to Tevez, and it made me laugh watching the Man City fans celebrating every goal like they’d won the cup then goading us Barnsley fans, I mean how can you get excited that your team worth billions are battering little Barnsley?

Nahh we might be **** most of the time, but when we beat the bigger sides and go on runs like we did last season, it’s all the more sweeter!

Tevez after his run in with the law shouldn't have been available to play.

It might be sweeter but how often does it happen?

Imagine having some of the best players in the world at your club? Getting to watch David Silva, De Bruyne, Aguero etc & they play for you for years. They don’t leave after a decent season.

Playing Real Madrid, Barcelona, PSG, Juve, Milan etc, regularly winning & challenging for trophies. I honestly think you’re kidding yourself. I’d swap in a heartbeat.

It would be good to have them as your local team, and you can always get tickets!

Wish em' all the best. On monetary terms we're a massive nearly club. We've got what every football fan dreams of but they won't spend money.

Tight billionaires you couldn't make it up.

It looks like a consortium headed by the Saudi Arabians and in particular, one Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, who just happens to be The Crown Prince and is considered the facto ruler of Saudi Arabia and with out doubt the man who sent agents to kill and dismember the journalist Jamal Khashoggi in an appalling way and yet most Newcastle supporters are happy I can say this about Mike Ashley he was a detestable rotten to the core individual but not a murderer so for me they have jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire.
I'm not one for wishing any team bad luck in the future but F***me they come close.

It was good but pep has spent over 1 billion on players and won nothing in Europe. Over the years they have bought players for extortionate fees robhinio, Delph, lescott even grealish was overpriced. One reason why I don't like premiership football anymore.
Used to like City when they were a proper football club with the crest badge, played at maine Road ground full of fans not tourists.

The sight of numbskull Newcastle fans celebrating their club's transfer to the ownership of a bunch of human rights abusers and murderers just reinforces the fact that football is screwed and a distressingly large portion of it's followers are pretty deplorable.

I'd rather that than be taken over by the Saudis. In fact that would be me done SD. The game gets worse by the week. Blatter, Platini, World Cups every two years, Man City's owners, the Super League, FFP cheats, booing taking the knee, racism, obscene wages. The whole thing is a cesspit.

I think everyone involved in football is a money grabbing mercenary. That's from top to bottom. Even grass roots kids coaches have pound signs in their eyes.

It’s like New Years Eve in Newcastle tonight - the takeover making them the richest club in world football! We are campaigning for an iconic piece of British Football heritage - ???the West Stand! Which would I prefer? Nearly called in to say take a deep breath celebrating foreign ownership so wildly! ??? Watch this space….,

    Arsenal billionaire owners.
    Chelsea billionaire owner.
    Tottenham billionaire owner.
    Aston Villa billionaire owner.
    Man Utd massive global franchise.
Man City Richest club in the world.
    Everton billionaire owners.
    Newcastle billionaire owners.

Only so many trophies and players to go round. Having money helps but guarantees nothing. It pays wages but then again the player has the choice.

Man Utd or Newcastle? Mmm Man Utd everytime.

I’m just sick of losing our best players to clubs like Brentford, Preston & Wigan after one decent season.

We’ve tried to do things fairly & we just get **** on constantly.

If we got the chance to be a part of the **** show then I’d jump straight in.
