Looking at the table and it makes bleak reading. We are in a similar position as last season until the arrival of V Ismael and a run of winning matches turned the season around completely. Sorry but can't see this happening with Schopp at the helm , a lack of training staff, a long injury list and a change of tactics that the players are unable to cope with. I don't see much room for optimism and to cap it all now the West Stand is as defunct as the scoreboard. Good news from Oakwell is rather thin on the ground at the moment.
What makes for bleaker viewing is the performances so far this season bar 45 minutes against qpr. Some of the worst football I've seen in years probably since wilsons 2nd spell
Ifs n' ands for me. If we get rid of Schopp and pinch four or five wins until Christmas. The new guy will assess the squad and January will come to the rescue. If we keep hold of Schopp while the November international break or longer we're as good as down. I didn't know we'd lost last weekend until I watched Quest on Sunday morning. That's how bad it is for me personally.
And that’s the real danger to this club long term TBH. Can’t blame people with performances as they are currently.
What really gets me is that we are currently just 6 points above Derby County even with all their problems!
The squad when all fit will be able to compete but I remain this manager /head coach has what it takes to turn it round like Valerian Ismael. Mid table security looks a long way off the way it's going.
It’s looking like it’s deeper than injury problems IMO , The statement from Brittan doesn’t look promising at all IMO . Normally it’s a case if we need to try harder etc but his statement was more than that and the owners seem to be holding the council and Crynes hostage or even vice versa for all we know but to close the West Stand when it’s got it’s safety certificate tells a story .
