Anyone taking in a lower or non-league game this weekend? Using this opportunity to finally pop along to Hallam FC, which is a mile walk from my house. They've won 6 in a row in all competitions, not scoring less than 3 goals in each of those victories and currently sit top of the league. Hoping to see a goal.
I’ve noticed that the official “non-league day” doesn’t seem to be a thing anymore. hopefully loads of people get to a local game, the weather looks well set for it
Ive started doing this every weekend when Tarn arent at home. Tomorrow I'm planning a day trip to the East Coast, doing some birdwatching in the morning then taking in Bridlington Town v Sheffield FC.
The last one was in 2019. The pandemic postponed the one last year, and for some reason they've decided to have this seasons during the March 2022 International break (it's usually the October one). https://mobile.twitter.com/nonleaguedayuk?lang=en
Going to Harrogate vs. Scunthorpe tomorrow. Followed by New York vs. Atlanta the following day in an altogether different kind of football.
Next week I'm thinking of giving York's new ground a go. They're at home to Morpeth in the FA Cup 4th qualifier.
Worsbrough bridge go watch them regularly great little ground, great staff all round good evening / afternoon
Do you live in Sleaford? Can't think of many reasons to go out of your way to visit it! Their new ground looks really nice though, good to see them finally competing in the national pyramid. I used to do their match reports when I was at school, when they played on the local park. Not quite jumpers for goalposts, but plenty of dog turds!
Live 7 miles from Melton, a few mates going as they follow Melton and Sleafords not too far but it's a toss up with that n Kettering (used to live there) v Chester tbh
