We didn't have enough stewards now we do? Or maybe they have just took them from.the west stand they've shut down
What was the original allocation of tickets , how many stewards do we need for the away end and the West Stand , what remedial work is the Council insisting the club carry out , who killed Princess Diana Chien or Conway
That’s the only explanation that fits 1 close a stand 2 cram everyone into the other 2, not caring how much you upset your own supporters 3 a couple of extra thousand at £36 a pop well worth alienating your long standing regular customers for
Take your conway tinted glasses off. By looks the council say its okay to use with some crowd control issues like don't let away fans in there for a start.
It pains me to say something that is a bit in their defence but once the West Stand has been shut, for whatever reason, then it wouldn't make sense to not redeploy the stewards. It'd be a bit daft if they all stood there in the West stand stewarding empty seats.
Very much how it looks to me we haven't enough stewards so we will shut the west stand with supporters whonhave been there for 20 plus years give them option to move. Move the stewards to the away end give teams a bigger allocation.
It is when you're a greedy ******** with zero morals. Not that I'm saying any of our owners match that description obviously I know I'm a bit thick but don't they need those stewards in the areas that all the west stand folk are moving to?
I guess it would depend on ratios. If the 1000 spread out really sparingly across the East and Ponty then each area may not have enough extra fans to require an extra steward. I have no idea about any of that though.
We announced Patrick Cryne owning the club on Friday 5th of September 2003....... https://www.theguardian.com/football/2003/sep/05/newsstory.sport7 We announced the deal with Pacific Media Group on 19th of December 2017....... https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/2017/december/club-statement/ Even when the Cryne family first bought the club the west stand needed knocking down. They were the only owners of the Football club for 5,219 days before selling part of BFC..... https://www.timeanddate.com/date/durationresult.html?d1=05&m1=09&y1=2003&d2=18&m2=12&y2=2017&ti=on They have owned part of the club and half the ground another 1,391 days since selling 80% to PMG....... https://www.timeanddate.com/date/durationresult.html?d1=18&m1=12&y1=2017&d2=8&m2=10&y2=2021&ti=on That's 6,610 days pre and post takeover they could have done something about a stand that's needed knocking down the whole eighteen years it's been in their name and they haven't done a thing about it.
Retiring Mayor of (word deleted to protect sensibilities of delicate BBS members ) Region formerly of (word deleted to protect sensibilities of delicate BBS members) jumps on band wagon in time for General Election , maybe he can ask his hedge funder mates to buy the club
This place gets worse. Any more made up conspiracies out there? Come on guys, think hard, there’s bound to be something ridiculously obscure to wobble on about.
Except it hasn't NEEDED knocking down for those 18 years at all has it. We've WANTED it knocking down to improve the ground but it hasnt needed it and as per the stadium owners statement today, backed up by the mayor of South Yorkshire, the stand doesn't NEED knocking down now or even closing and is in fact "perfectly safe to host professional football and accommodate fans in all areas to the capacity set out in the current Safety Certificate."
