"B'stard" still works. Have you tried "*******"? - You're right that worked for me a while ago (It's the word in question with the first "a" replaced by "@").
We should adopt a single word to represent every swear word no matter how bad...I'll offer a suggestion . "Boris"
Fèck 100% used to work until fairly recently, as did shîte. They were my go to alternatives when things peed me off.
Honestly, they really didn’t. All words in the swear filter are listed from oldest to newest on the admin panel and those are way up the top from years and years ago. Maybe you were typing it in a way that beat the swear filter, or maybe you didn’t type it as often or as recently as you think, but it isn’t new.
Fèck should be removed from the swear filter. It's a euphemism, in the same way that "ass" is used as a watered down form of "àrse". Per Wikipedia The most popular and widespread modern use of the term is as a slang expletive in Irish English, employed as a less serious alternative to the expletive "f*ck" to express disbelief, surprise, pain, anger, or contempt. If we're having a swear filter (and I'm not saying we shouldn't), then let's have a sensible one.
Dear BBC As a regular contributor to this forum and someone who has the greatest respect for the richness and colour of our native tongue I must say I am appalled that a thread such as this is allowed without being deleted. The vast majority of the contributors are simply using it as a means to type smutty, filthy and obscene language. They are all ******* ***** and deserve to have a ******* rod inserted up their ***** to teach them a ******* lesson. Yours Mr Angry Bristol
