    Chuckling at the thought of some ont bbs supporting an England national team, waving the cross of St "he never came here, he was Turkish" and singing an anthem that shares its name with the capital of Israel.

    Well I've given that a go, including the efforts of the large lunged songstresses a few verses in.

    Prefer Jerusalem tbh. No need to worry about where the symbolism comes from. It's got the right tune, like the Scots have.

    Land of Hope and Glory is indeed another good cockle stirrer, despite our bounds being limited these days.

    Let's face it - the French anthem goes on about naffing off to go and kill whoever you can find . So we needn't get caught up in lyrical issues.

    3 Lions on the shirt does the trick too for me - till we win summat.
