The fact he has been sacked is totally irrelevant to any previous court case.

The club refuses to lay all the facts out not the fans. In my opinion that means they get held in exactly the same regard as a suspect who's only words are no comment over and over

The only “fact” I’m interested in currently is that fans have been patronisingly told that they are not getting any further information until the Board feels like telling us. That’s thousands of people, invested in the club, being told to “pipe down” like naughty children.

The arrogance, the dismissal. It’s not the first time either.

The comment was "now he's working for them again".

Just pointing out that comment is false.

So no immediate information (from any party) means marching to Oakwell with flaming torches and pitchforks?

    Ok.

    Well said.

Whether the facts back up the club or not, they have gone too far now and lost my faith by not being open, honest and transparent like they said they would be. I think I’m just about done with them.

It was just as empty a statement as anything the club put out.

    No it wasnt.

The club very vaguely mentioned structural issues, the council clarified very clearly that the inspection found no structural issues preventing the stand being used to its full capacity as dictated in the grounds safety certificate AND that at no point during the inspection did the club raise any concerns about the structure of the stands. They couldn't have been clearer. Meanwhile the club said f3ck off and shut up

Supporting your club is supposed to be a pleasurable hobby away from the stresses of everyday life....this is getting exhausting.:(

    No. Quite the opposite.
Being treated with contempt (again) means I feel like I just can’t be bothered any more.

Their leadership, their customer care tells me that the fans are unimportant.
If they cared what the majority of fans thought, they’d be a bit more proactive. The fact is, they act like they don’t care. They’ve put us in our place.

You're wasting your time mate. We aren't allowed to talk about it until the owners decide to give us a bit more information because they're too busy during an international break to do so. The fans in the West Stand just have to suck it up as they don't deserve a full explanation right now.

We must also forget the following issues:

They haven't bought the club outright yet.
They haven't met the terms of the lease of the ground in maintaining its upkeep (see scoreboard as a bare minimum to prove this).
    Radio silence re Dane's departure.
    The 21 word statement.
    Numerous public threats of litigation.
Giving backword on that player we agreed to buy- Miranda was it?
    Giving backword on Watford.
The exodus of staff over the past couple of months.
The issues at Nice before they pulled out. Also trying to take credit for a training ground that they didnt finance or build.

    I'm sure they'll be things I've missed.

    Everything's totally fine.

Quite right. Yet us, the fans, are the most valuable asset of their purchase of the club.
Without paying fans, there is no value to the business really (yes, you could argue tv money, sponsorship etc, but lack of gate receipts during lockdown has caused financial hardship for most, if not all, clubs outside of the Premiership)
Myself, for example, I ploughed over a thousand pounds into the club, three season tickets, a couple of shirts, all away games on iFollow, yet never saw a ball kicked. Even missed out in the ballot for the Swansea game. But yet am back this season ploughing more money into the club along with thousands of others.
I don’t sit on the West Stand but can understand the bitter disappointment of those that are.

    That's a shame.

Weird how I make a comment about something very specific being false and you don't want to debate it anymore. Probably because there's nothing really more you can say about it.

And regarding the wider issue about the West Stand, again all I'm saying it no one knows owt really, not you, not I, nor anyone else on the outside. So just exercise some restraint before laying blame before the facts are out.

Not really sure why people are getting arsey with me about that?

For the record, I've said all parties involved need to sort it out ASAP, and I'm not just talking about the West Stand, I'm talking about the entire operation, because it's embarrassing as fu ck...no one is looking good during this shitshow.

    A stand is closed
    The owner says it’s safe
    The user says it isn't
1000 of our fans have therefore been moved to rubbish seats elsewhere
The previous capacity of the away end was 2000, it’s now considerably more……

    That’s what’s going on.
