    I fear so. Has had a very good career, so at 36, probably something he can cope with. I hope he can recover well, was just a bad fall.

    I noticed him go down, however, from the replays he also ended up holding the wrong knee to which got jarred and twisted. Having done my same ACL twice I still can't understand how the knee he ended up holding has done his in, still feel for him tho cos it's the worse injury I've ever had

    I feel a bit bad because I was convinced it was a fake injury to time waste. A 36 year old who was never likely to play more than an hour goes down after 55 mins then gets stretchered off & is up walking about in the stand before the end of the game. I’m very cynical.

    More annoying is we only got 5 minutes injury time when Routledge alone was down for over 3 minutes.

    I never doubted he was hurt. The main sign being he went down and stayed still. You can usually tell how much someone isn't injured by the amount of rolls they do.

    I suspected instantly to be honest, but I did my ACL too many moons ago so you can just tell often with the innocuous twisting movement and then the test the physio does to hear a "clunk"

    Because my opinion differs to yours, it's worthless. It might not be a popular opinion but it's as valid as anyone else's. Chances are, he will make a full recovery and i'll forget all about him, until he plays against us again. I'm not a fan of cheating and lost my love for football after our season in the premier league, I'm only interested in football when the Reds are playing.
