    Oh I agree. But the fact that he is left footed means he's in front of those others (Konsa is probably the best at Villa, but he's right footed so falls behind about 5 others CB's at international level).

    If Luke Shaw was right footed he'd be our 4th best right back at best also.

    What a load of crap. Wasted 45 mins watching that. Why do we keep getting to the edge of Hungary's box and going back to Walker or Shaw? No decent balls into box. Why didn't Grealish shoot? Babba.

    This Matterface commentator is getting on my nerves. He talks over the few good passages of play we’ve had with boring unnecessary facts and is very Martin Tyler-esque . I also get the feeling he’s not a John Stones fan, because apart from the goal, he seems to not mention his name when he got a couple of crucial blocks in earlier. A 40 yard cross field pass to his team mate is talked over, and another neat through ball is described as ‘well received’ by the player he passed to. Surely ITV can find better than this muppet.

    1.fanny around the back 4 until grealish becomes free
    2. He as a few dribbles until shaw becomes free
    3. Only shaw allowed to cross the ball where it's up for grabs.
    And a shout out to Hungary who are putting a shift in like we used to last year

    He also said that we were facing a penalty “earlier than you’d like”. Is there an optimal time to concede a penalty? Maybe when you’re 5-0 up in the 90th minute I guess?

    Unsure if it was him, but the obviously pre written script the commentator finished with after the Andorra game crammed full of puns linked to the fire they’d had in the stand was unbelievably cringeworthy - why do they think they have to try and be a comedian ?
