    Presume he’ll have devastated kids, grandkids and friends too.

    Truly awful and nothing to do with politics.

    Murder is murder no place for it. Disagree with folk and if there's wrong doing hope the law takes care of it. No place for this.

    Will be interested to see what the motive was for this, and who this 25 year old murderer is.

    Awful news and very tragic , my thoughts are with David’s family and friends .
    Apart from the personal tragedy these events brings it also has consequences on our democracy.
    It is becoming almost unsustainable that the link we have to easy access to government .
    This is not only a Tragedy for David’s family but for our nation and democracy imo.

    After Jo Cox, security should have been provided to MPs not just to Ministers.
