We didn’t even send Helik forward until the last 90 seconds. I get your point, but I don’t detect anything from this manager to suggest that he will play the percentages.
Think he's been dealt a bum hand but by God has he played it badly. Sometimes it just doesn't work out, need a change now to at last give something new, can't get any worse and if it doesn't change now then we are relegated, no good saving 500k now to lose 6 million in April, time for some real leadership at the top of the club, but I'm not holding my breath.
Worst thing about that result is that we wasted the international break where we could have got a new manager in.
The performance was there. The defence is okay. The midfield looked okay. But final third needs some serious work. Individuals finding themselves isolated, having to try to do it all themselves. We got shots away, but they were speculative from distance. Once again Brittain hits the post.
1 win in how many? 8% win ratio before today, last goal from open play styles v Birmingham? Never look like scoring, strange selections and subs....... he has to go surely?
If this bloke survives after today I give up. After last season all the hope killed off by this numpty for ***** sake get shut.
It won’t happen. Clear that keeping him through the international break they’re too tight to get rid.
Deserved a point; had a very good 15 minute spell at the beginning of the 2nd half when we were very much running the show. But you have to score when you're on top. Surprised when Callum Brittain was subbed, as he was playing well Need Carlton Morris back - and soon.
That’s so frustrating. We were far better than probably all games this season bar QPR and Cardiff. We continue to make poor decisions in the final third. It’s so repetitive how bad our decision making is. I actually enjoyed watching the game in isolation, and you wouldn’t sack a manager on the back of that alone, but it’s all the games before it. One thing I will say in Schopp’s defence is that today’s squad was a world away from what we had last season. It’s not an excuse, but we’re decimated in experience and quality.
I know what you and others mean but for the life of me I can't think who the replacement would/should be. I would prefer a UK manager, with experience of League 1/Championship. I can't see this oversees board or inexperienced CEO, making that logical choice.
