    It's a no from me. Don't get the obsession to have a former player in charge who's either done useless in management like Redders or in this case haven't managed at first team level at all.

    Imagine the uproar on here if our next managerial duo had a big fat zero first team games managed between them. There would quite rightly be uproar. Being one of our former players shouldn't give free pass to get a position they aren't qualified for.

    Providing we sack Schopp tonight, realistically who is going to take charge of Sunday’s game? Do you trust these clowns to have someone lined up already? It’s not ideal but for one game against a local rival let’s have someone in charge who gives a damn about the club!

    Unpopular suggestion as it will be but Id put Heckingbottom in charge on a game by game basis til they've found another unknown from Europe.
