Well he wa employed by Pacific Media gp until recently and is currently out of work. Would you want him back looking at his record since leaving Barnsley FC. I'd like to see how he would fair as caretaker headcoach I'm until the end of this seas on. Surely he could do no worse than Schopp.

    Yes, yes and thrice yes.
In fact, the more others don't want Daniel to return, the more I want him to. :D:D

He fell short at Championship level. A very similar record to Schopp as a matter of fact, even down to the first match win.

Yes, let's have some attacking football again. Still miffed he didn't get some experience in defence at least so he had a fighting chance.

Did he chuff. He was sold down the river. Board refused to give him any experience at all and then immediately allowed his successor to bring in anyone he wanted

    Much like Schopp tbf!

Inherited a side that lost Soll, Mowatt and Dike, then lost Mads and Morris to injury - then added:

    - 21 year old central midfielder with 17 career starts.
    - 22 year old centre back with 44 League Two appearances.
    - 19 year old midfielder on loan with a handful of loan appearances
    - 23 year old forward with 20 goals in 124 senior appearances at various levels
    - 25 year old forward with 16 goals in 96 senior appearances at various levels

    --

The only difference is that the decent players we have clung onto have gone backwards under the current boss.

No the difference is that practically all of stendels squad was inexperienced at this level. Schopp could basically put out a starting 11 of players who finished in the playoffs last year

I reckon Stendel would do alright with the players who would currently be at his disposal.

    No he can't.

From last years starting 11, Mowatt and Dike have gone and Mads, Morris and Sibbick are injured.

Brittain, Styles, Palmer and to a lesser extent Woodrow and Helik are the shell of last season - which is obviously down to the Head Coach.

But don't pretend he's got a squad as strong as last year's - that's incorrect.

Sibbicks been out for one game and was apparently injured but is okay for Sunday same as Cole make of that what you want but schopp has chosen moon on numerous occasions before Sibbick.

And he doesn't have a squad as strong as last season. But stendel had both his center backs sold and his top scorer replaced with players from Austria.

Technically, he needs 16 players not 11.
