In Arab style clothing as it may be seen as culturally inappropriate. No mention of refraining from chopping up journalists and smuggling them out of buildings piecemeal though.
They are both wrongs & I agree it would be massively in bad taste. I know where the bigger wrongs lie. The fact that they are considered "fit & proper persons" tells me all about the governance of the Premier League. I don't think @churtonred was out of order pointing this out TBH. Newcastle fans will no doubt be glad to see the back of the odious previous owner, who has no doubt made a huge profit of his investment. I'd love it if they get relegated anyway, but I doubt it will happen. I've now't against people in the North East, who I find to be great folks, I just don't think a murderous state should be anywhere near a UK football club. Boris is still selling weapons to them, despite all this. No surprise there. Money is more powerful than morals or justice. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...s-sales-to-saudi-arabia-after-exports-resumed
I thought about this too when I saw some Newcastle fans wearing them, but apparently the owners have said it's alright and even encouraged it, some even suggested it might be sold in club shop. No idea if true
it's more about the people slapping in tea towels in a place where the word "towelhead" is commonly used to insult the Arab world
It's going to be a nightmare this year at primary school nativity plays. My young un has been a shepherd last two years with tea towel on his head.
Wonder if the British government will see this as an opportunity to sell cluster bombs to NUFC so they can wage a one sided war against Gateshead?
I can see this going tits up pardon the pun because these Saudi's won't want to work with a woman (Stavely).
